The Wildflower Park is a residential recreation area on 14 acres of land located in Wildflower Drive, a subdivision in Hoover. Hoover is a city in Jefferson and Shelby counties in north central Alabama, United States with a population of 92,606 as of the 2020 US Census. This City housing the Wildflower Park is the largest suburban city in Alabama and the 6th largest city in Alabama. The Wildflower Park has lots of amenities for sports and other recreational activities and some of the amenities include two playgrounds, gazebo, outdoor basketball court, walking / jogging track that runs through the park and surrounds the athletic field (5 laps = 1 mile), public parking and restroom facilities. A walking / jogging track runs through the park. The Wildflower Park is good for kids, pet friendly, and has a wheelchair accessible entrance and car park. There is a standard play area at the top of the hill with a neat trail through the woods. The park is usually open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. However these hours may vary on holidays like Independence Day.

This place is a hidden gem located in a quiet part of the city of Hoover. Wildflower Park provides a safe, secure, serene and peaceful area where your kids can play with others. The spot offers an excellent place to enjoy some quality family time since there are many picnic areas here. There are swings, slides and many other kiddies amenities in the park and in addition the grounds of the children play area is padded resulting in reduced risk of serious injuries from fall while playing. The location is secure, so you can do other activities while your children play to their heart’s content. It has a nice big field and walking trail with descriptions of each tree as you pass by which is very educational for children and adults alike. There is a standard play area at the top of the Vestavia Hills with a neat trail through the woods. Down the hill past the new parking spots is a big grassy area for sports.
