We are an independent or non-denominational church located at 2281 Old Tyler Road Hoover, Alabama, United States. We are a multi-generational congregation committed to loving God with all we are, loving our neighbors with gospel intentionality, and growing together in love through Christ-centered community. The SMCC Ballet Academy at Vestavia Hills, AL is a Christ-centered studio offering high quality training in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Ballet is a beautiful art form that can be used to give glory back to Christ just as we pray, sing, and fellowship. We believe it can be used as an expression of the gifts God has given to individuals. Our values and standards are set in place to create a positive and trusted environment, where students can learn and thrive in their love for dance. Here at the SMCC Ballet Academy, your child will grow in more ways than one. From prayer and mentorship in the classroom, to choreography set to Christian worship music, to outreach performance opportunities in the community! All of course paired alongside excellent training.

We have a vibrant children’s ministry that your children can participate in on Sunday mornings. Elementary-aged children are invited to stay in Kids Church while the adults and youth meet in the worship center for our Sunday morning service. However, your children are just as welcome in the worship center if you would prefer to have them worship with you. Our Nursery Ministry provides a place for your younger children to learn age-appropriate biblical truths in a safe and caring atmosphere, both during the Sunday school period and the worship service.
